Saxon Wood School is a Special School for children with Physical
Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs, catering for up to 35
children. Staff at Saxon Wood work hard to provide a caring yet
stimulating and challenging environment for children. We
believe that all children are special, and the children at Saxon
Wood are more special than most. Parents of prospective pupils
are welcome to visit at any time. Please contact the school if
you wish to make an appointment.

Extended Schools At Saxon Wood there are additional groups which run to help fulfil areas of learning that the children may otherwise not experience Click here for more information

Pre Nursery Group This group is designed for babies and toddlers with physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs and their parents. Pre-school age siblings are also welcome. The children have an opportunity to play with the activities and toys in the nursery and also with other children. A drink, fruit and a biscuit are available for the children. The parents have an opportunity to meet with other parents, the nursery staff and also any therapists who are in Saxon Wood on that morning. The group is held in The Nursery Class at Saxon Wood School on Thursdays in term time from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 p.m. |
