Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to help them support specific groups of children to ensure they are given every opportunity for success. These groups include pupils who are or have been entitled to Free School Meals over the past six years, those who are, or who have previously been, looked after by the Local Authority, and the children of armed service personnel.

Previously Looked After Children includes those children who are adopted, subject to Special Guardianship Order (SGO) or subject to a Care Arrangement Order (CAO).
